Events At The Spot

The Orange Spot Bakery are finishing off the 2011 year, with many new awards under their belt but nothing is more satisfying to them as the staff commitment to playing an ongoing role to assist the protection of our environment by becoming Australia's first GREEN RETAIL BAKERY.......

The SPOT has totally offset it's carbon emissions for 2009 by planting a forest of native trees with Greenfleet. They have also commenced using solar panel technology for energy in 2010 .

These environmentally safe technologies have been complemented with rainwater tanks and reductions to landfill.

The Orange Spot proudly acknowledge they are currently carbon neutral and are aiming at becoming carbon negative in 2010.
